Course Title: ART 465 ARTIST IN RESIDENCY INTERNSHIP

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
ART466. ARTIST IN RESIDENCY INTERNSHIP/ THREE HOURS. Major, Minor, Elective credit.
Prerequisite: ART 111, 112, 113, appropriate advanced courses in area of interest, and permission of faculty
advisor. This program offers advanced Studio Art students the opportunity to develop pedagogical skills to
implement art is in residency programs including planning the residency, marketing the residency, implementing
workable student and materials management plans, and promoting visual arts in the school and community.
Pass/fail grading. May be repeated.

GRADES ARE BASED ON
Plan and present a weekly in-class lecture on the principles and usage of graphic design in a professional manner. The lecture will be an add-on to the professor’s main lecture. Lecture time should be 10 to 15 minutes.
Plan and present a weekly in-class a Adobe software skill-building exercises. The demonstration will be an add-on to the professor’s main topic. Demonstration should be 10 to 15 minutes.
